Rishi Sunak supports Net Zero but worries about green costs. The PM backs the ban on petrol and diesel cars but wants to invest in nuclear and wind.

P rime Minister Rishi Sunak, after his visit to a housing project in Birmingham (by helicopter, once again!), emphasised the need for government climate policies to be implemented proportionately and pragmatically.

While expressing his commitment to the Net Zero agenda, he acknowledged the concerns of some Tories who advocate for scaling back these policies.
