A new survey reveals a widespread public mistrust in Boris Johnson’s management of the COVID-19 pandemic during his premiership. The results indicate a considerable trust deficit that may have repercussions on the former PM’s political influence and potential future political endeavours.

Y ouGov has released a recent survey regarding the public perception of Boris Johnson’s trustworthiness during the COVID-19 pandemic, indicating a distinctly negative public opinion of the former prime minister.

Only a small minority (16%) of the British adults surveyed consider Boris Johnson to be generally trustworthy concerning the pandemic, while a vast majority (71%) do not view him as trustworthy in this context. A final segment (13%) remains undecided.
